The show is called 'The Music of Queen - Rocked up and Classical' We're gonna go classical and the Orchestra are gonna rock it up lol: ) You can get your tickets from the Odyssey Arena's Box Office - www.odysseyarena.com do not miss this one!

Plans for the Odyssey show are going well and the date has been set for 10th Jan 09. Tickets will be going on sale shortly. 3/4/07 - What a cracker gig at the Kings Head on Friday night!! Thanks to all who were there for helping us celebrate in style our 15th ANNIVERSARY!!!! Here's to at least another 15!! Rock on.

16/1/07 - Hi everyone and a happy new year to you!! Started off the year with a bang last saturday at the Waterfront Hall. The gig was completely sold out and was an absolute cracker (so was the aftershow party!!). Anyway following such a great night we thought it was time to announce our next mad adventure. We have been wrecking our brains to come up with an idea to follow the Royal Albert Hall gig. So here goes - we are currently talking to the Ulster Orchestra about doing a Queen show together in 2008 at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast. The Odyssey holds up to 10,000 people and we think it is the perfect venue for such a spectacle. The Orchestra are up for it and so are we, so if you are up for it we would love to see you there. It's something we think even Freddie would have been proud of. Exciting or what!!?? Watch this space for more news. See ya out there.

4/11/06 - Had a cracker weekend at the Cork Jazz Festival - Two great gigs and got to see some excellent players on saturday afternoon! We were looking forward to finishing off the weekend with a bang at Cafe Ceol in Bangor but for those of you who were there it didn't turn out that way initially. Harry decided to fly home from Cork rather than take the train, but his flight was delayed for over 6 hours!! This meant that the gig didn't go quite as planned. It did go ahead however with Harry arriving eventually and a big thanks to Darren for standing in at the start of the show and saving the day!! As promised we will be running another show at Cafe Ceol on Sunday 3rd December which will be free of charge for those of you who were there last Sunday. Just bring yourt wrist band to Cafe Ceol for your free ticket. To those of you who were there thank you for your patience and we look forward to seeing you on the 3rd!! In addition we offered a 10% discount for tickets for our Waterfront show in January. If you would like to get tickets for this show just leave contact details at Cafe Ceol when you are picking up your tickets and we will be in touch.

18/9/06 - Just added some pics from our Jan 06 Waterfront show - check out the photos pages and click on the Waterfront '06 link.

16/9/06 - Sorry the site's been down for a while - some tech problems hopefully sorted now and the f***ing spamers have got into our guest book again but Speedo is furiously working away to keep them at bay! Too early yet to announce our next madcap adventure - watch this space?

16/9/06 - Can't believe the Freddie party was a week ago!! What a great night and what a great audience as always!! Once again we met some old friends and made some new ones (apart from someone who was offended at us doing a couple of Paul Rogers snippets - go figure!!??). The Fan Club CD has been released and sounds great - there are some excellent performances!! Can't comment on ours but we like it. Still can't tell you what track we did though, you'll have to buy the album to find out which you can get by contacting Jacky at www.queenworld.com The album is called 'An Unconventional Tribute to Queen' - definitely worth a tenner.

21/7/06 - The Queen Fan Club are releasing a CD featuring all of the tribute bands who have played at the conventions and parties over the years. We have been invited to submit a track for the album and although we could tell you what it is we don't want to spoil the surprise so you'll have to buy the CD and find out!!

22/4/06 - Sorry we haven't posted anything lately, things have been fairly quiet. Shanksy was away gigging and skiing in Austria, Speedo was working on his Thin Lizzy tribute and Harry has been working on putting together a run of Summer of Love shows. Shanksy is heading away (again!!) this time to the US and while he is away Harry and Speedo will be doing the Summer of Love Shows. We are planning an Irish Theatre tour for the Autumn and will post the dates on the gigs page as they are confirmed. Things are looking good for the Freddie Mercury 60th birthday party in September. The gig is looking like it will definitely go ahead, although the venue hasn't been confirmed yet. Bar 7 at the end of the month promises to be a cracker!! We are all busting to get back playing again so there will be plenty of stored up energy to release!! If you are planning to go get down early and get a good seat!! See ya out there.

12/1/06 - Freddie Mercury would have been 60 this September so the Queen Fan Club are planning a birthday celebration for fan club members. If you're a member get your deposit off, if your not a member join and get your deposit of!! It promises to be the party of the year!!

12/1/06 - To everyone who was at our Waterfront show, what a cracker audience you were and what an excellent start to the year!!. Here's to a fab 2006!!!

17/10/05 - Glam Slam have very kindly agreed to appear as our special guests at the Waterfront on January 5th - should be a good party afterwards!!

02/10/05 - Flash Harry will be playing at the Beechlawn hotel on the 11th November 2005.
This is an event organised by Speedo to help raise some much needed funds for Harmony Hill Primary school.
Hope you can all come along and support this event.

02/10/05 - Bad news for anyone who has booked for our new year bash at the Helix in Dublin. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control the gig has been cancelled. You can get a full refund by contacting the box office at the Helix - sorry for any hassle this may cause, it was really out of our hands. We are looking at other venues and will let you know as soon as we have anything confirmed.

01/10/05 - Well the 20th Queen Convention at Prestatyn is now just an extremely happy memory. We met some old friends and made some new ones. We also played to one of our most appreciative audiences ever, drank more beer than ever and really just had one of the best weekends EVER! Thank you to Jacky and Val form the Queen Fan Club for having us and looking after us so well, and thank you to everyone who was there for making us feel so welcome!!

20/9/05 - Tickets for our Waterfront show on 5/1/06 are now on sale - get 'em while they're hot!

20/9/05 - Just been invited to play at the Midsomer Norton festival next year with Girlschool and Dr and the Medics - Sounds cool!

20/9/05 - Heading off to play at the Queen Convention tomorrow - see ya there!?

21/6/05 - It is with great sadness that we bid farewell to our long standing crew member and best friend Spike. After 11 years of loyal service Spike has decided to call it a day (only as our roadie, not as our chum). He will of course still be popping up at gigs now and again, but we wish him well with whatever he decides to do with himself. We would like to welcome in Spike's place Hopper and Mark (nick name yet to be decided!?). Big boots for the guys to fill, but we're sure they will be up for the job!!

8/6/05 - Just confirmed a show at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast for Thursday 5th January 2006. Tickets should be available soon (we might even nick some ideas from the recent Queen and PR show). Full of inspiration for this one, can't wait - see you there!!

8/6/05 - Some of us went to see Queen and Paul Rodgers at the Odyssey (one of us even went to Dublin as well!?). What a magic show! Brian was brilliant, Roger was brilliant, Paul was brilliant, the lights and stage set were brilliant and the rest of the band were brilliant!! Guess what word sums up the show??

21/4/05 - Speedo has organised a gig along with Phil Lynott's mum at the Spring and Air Brake in Belfast on 29/4/05 to help raise funds for a memorial statue of Phil Lynott which is to be erected in Dublin. For more details visit Speedo's site - www.kelmel.co.uk The band is Tinn Lizzy featuring Speedo and Willie Byrne.

4/2/05 - We will also be taking part in a show at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin on 9/4/05 - The show is entitled 'Tribute Aid' in aid of GOAL and we will be performing alongside other tribute acts covering artists such as: U2, The Police and The Beatles plus some Irish celebrities such as Brian Kerr.

3/2/05 - Thank you to everyone who supported us all at the recent shows in aid of the Tsunami Disaster Fund. We haven't heard the final figures yet but we believe that over the two shows in excess of £30,000 was raised!! Thanks must also go to all the other acts and production crews involved in the shows.

11/1/05 - On 23/1/05 at the Millennium Theatre in Londonderry and 27/1/05 at the Ulster Hall in Belfast, we will be taking part in two events to help raise money for the Tsunami Disaster Fund. Please help us help the victims of this terrible tragedy. Tickets for the Londonderry show are available from the Theatre Box Office and Tickets for the Ulster Hall show are available from Ticketsmaster and the Virgin Megastore in Belfast.

1/1/05 - A happy new year to you all. As always thank you for your support throughout the year and here's to a fab 2005!!

28/10/04 - Well, the Royal Albert Hall is now just a happy memory. Thank you to everyone who supported us on the show. It was the gig of a lifetime!! The sound, the lights, the staging, the audience and the venue were all perfect!! Onwards and upwards - we are now looking forward to Vegas in January and especially looking forward to the 20th Queen Fan Club convention in May!! Following the Royal Albert Hall show we have been offered a couple of UK tours so keep an eye out for details - we'll keep you posted when anything is confirmed. See ya. Harry and Speedo's 'Summer of Love' show at the Grand Opera House Belfast was a huge success.
Thank you to evey one who came along . The show was for anyone who was at, or wished they were at, Woodstock, which happened exactly 35 years ago on the day of the show. Harry and Speedo were joined onstage with Julian Watson (drums) - Phil Smith (Bass) - Willie Byrne (Guitar) - John Wilson (Keys) - Fiona Dogherty & the SummerGirls (B Vox) - Ozzy Ozzbourne?? 08/03/04 - Officially confirmed - Harry has been invited to perform with Ibex (Freddies first band) at this year's Queen Fan Club Convention in Prestatyn, Wales on 9th May 2004. We have decided to let him and given him a note for the weekend. We are all chuffed to bits that Harry has been asked!!
